We are delighted to publish Bridging the Gap: Infrastructure Careers from a Social Science Perspective, a new report exploring why social science students remain largely absent from the infrastructure sector and what can be done about it.

UK major infrastructure consenting has suffered from a rise in complexity and a drop in pace in decision-making in recent years. These effects have been reflected in slower delivery and poor cost-control post consent, seen for example in the High Speed 2 rail project.
