The Account Manager (AM) delivers public affairs, stakeholder engagement and communications consultancy across a range of infrastructure projects. The AM holds a diverse range of responsibilities on both client and internal/company projects, and works closely with the wider team and also freelancers.

- Using their consultancy and/or in-house experience, the AM identifies compelling narratives and opportunities, and drives advocacy with political and business stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities
The Account Manager will:
- Demonstrate IM values and behaviours in all ways of working.
- Deliver impactful campaigns and high quality materials to support client objectives.
- Manage relationships with senior project stakeholders and clients.
- Manage relationships with a wide range of external stakeholders such as business leaders, local and national government, special interest groups and local communities.
- Develop stakeholder mapping, manage stakeholder databases, develop briefing notes and identify potential advocates.
- Work with a range of technical experts in client teams to understand and translate complex information for a wide range of audiences.
- Eventually take the lead on client accounts and project manage deliverables, other team members and hours/billing.
- Work with graphic designers and videographers to bring ideas to life including: infographics, animations, video case studies, presentations, brochures and maps.
- Work with IM leadership team on a range of corporate materials and projects.
- Assist in the development of new business pitches and proposals.
- Monitor Government and Parliament activity relevant to our clients and business development.
- Research new infrastructure projects and relevant developments in planning policy.
- Other duties as required to complete the job to a high level of quality.

- Comfortable dealing with stakeholders at all levels – from junior staff to CEOs.
